Driving an automobile is one of the most dangerous activities we participate in. There are many inherent risks that drivers assume; these risks are impossible to eliminate entirely. APPRENTICE KIT

1) DITzone Contract

Establishing clear expectations, limitations and consequences governing the privilege of driving are crucial to a smooth experience for all participants. With this in mind, we created the DITzone Contract and helpful hints for negotiating with your teen. The exercise of negotiating, completing and signing the DITzone Contract establishes the ground rules for the privilege of driving to be granted and maintained.

2) DITzone Signs

When experienced drivers encounter a driver education vehicle or a truck transporting dangerous materials they become more aware of their own driving and surroundings. We have designed our signs to stimulate the same reaction and thereby, creating a Zone around the car by informing other drivers that a novice is operating the vehicle. The DITzone signs suggest that space, patience and tolerance would be appreciated.

PROBATIONARY KIT

1) DITzone Emblems

The first 500-1000 miles driven by a teen are the most dangerous. During this time, they are 10 times more likely to crash than an experienced driver. Furthermore, statistics prove that new drivers are extremely vulnerable for the first 2-3 years of driving. We have developed an eye-catching emblem to communicate that new driver status. 3) 411-Journal

Having a resource to assist your teen when they encounter an emergency situation is peace of mind for you as a parent. In your absence, the 411-Journal comes with instructions in the event of a minor accident; flat tire; dead-battery; breakdown; and a chart to fill in with basic maintenance information for your vehicle. The Journal also has a pen and a document holder for driving paperwork (permit, insurance card, registration, etc...).
